Antibodies are usually manufactured to fight against the disease causing agents. There is lot of antibodies for a particular type of germ and there is lot of companies manufacturing these antibodies. ATM antibody is one of such antibody found in the market. It s full name is ataxia telangiectasia mutated.

Usually all the antibodies will have special reactivity towards specific living organisms. ATM antibody has special reactivity towards human, mouse, rat and some species of monkeys. The clone name of this antibody is 2C1. This antibody recognizes full-length ATM which is a nuclear phosphoprotein. This helps to locate that particular protein.
