In recent days, there were numerous closures of erotic Apps. According to Apple, the reason lies in the locks of complaints from users. Affected are Apps that can contribute in any way offensive or sexually.

So far, however, were spared Apps major manufacturer. Even in front positions and currently Apple is applying the apps from Playboy, FHM and Co. This not escape the suspicion that attaches to the Cupertino company from a double standard.

In addition to the adult content in songs and videos that can be purchased through iTunes, so not all apps were closed, belonging to the clients to be blocked.

The actions of Apple probably are related to the upcoming commercial release of iPad. Like the iPod touch Apple tablet appeals to a young audience. Even before the school also use Apple’s new iPad will be discussed.

For this reason, Apple apparently wants to remove any debatable content from the App Store. Or not, if apps like the Playboy App but apparently are still welcome.

Apple attributes this in the case of Sports Illustrated and the bikini issue with the fact that we are dealing with a large company with the appropriate reputation and wide acceptance. For the smaller developers, this must be particularly painful.

From now on like they do not lose their sales channel and look into the tube, while the adults can go on the App Store. It is exciting to watch what impact the current development will have on Google’s Android Market. There apps are published without prior examination.
